One of the most identifiable parts of Grand Canyon University is Thunder (GCU's mascot) - who was recently named America's favorite mascot officially this past year at UCA Mascot College Nations.
This year, Thunder needs help getting back to Florida to not only defend his title but compete with the Cheer and Dance Teams for the Gameday Competition Region.
The funds raised on Day of Giving will go towards props for the Mascot competition, travel expenses, registration fees, a new Thunder suit and the continuation of developing Thunder's name into a worldwide brand.
