Personal Message

The Changing Lives Outreach Program is a volunteer program that provides GCU undergrad behavioral health students with opportunities to transform lives on campus and in the community.

We do this by going into schools and other community organizations to support the needs of students and individuals who may be struggling.

By volunteering, we get to work in behavioral health and educational settings with professionals to support marginalized groups and foster human flourishing. Outreach activities include youth mentorship, refugee support, psycho educational support through group facilitation, community event engagement, and so much more.

Through involvement in the program, students are able to impact lives in a meaningful way while gaining hands on experience in the behavioral health field. This program is a great opportunity to connect with the community, other GCU students, and faculty who share a similar passion for serving others.

Your donation will contribute to the efforts of volunteers and collaboration with local schools, churches, and behavioral health organizations to empower communities, change lives, and develop transformative leaders.

We thank you for your support on GCU Day of Giving…Lopes Up!
